Welcome to Growth Capacity Services. I’m Gail Sawchuk and I am excited to get to know each other!
Like most people, I’ve had a lot of different jobs throughout my life. From my first at a Fotomat (some of you know what that is!) to many restaurants during college, a ten-year career working for non-profits, and a brief but transformative year at a start-up.
For the past five years, I've been doing what I love best:
Supporting small businesses and non-profits growth.
Using a variety of skills and experience including writing, graphic design, and administrative support.
Working around my family's busy schedule.
My parallel life has been supporting my husband, Pete, and his entrepreneurial spirit through restaurant ownership and now in his window cleaning business. Providing customer service, designing his website, doing the books, and helping him with marketing has taught me a lot about the ins and outs of running a small service business and how important all our processes are for our sanity and success!
Growth Capacity Services started as a grant writing service, shifted to virtual assistance including content writing, graphic design, social media management, and implementing new tech.
My latest shift is into the role of operations manager. I provide the critical support system that allows you to operate at your highest level.
When not working, I love to be outdoors hiking, walking on the beach, or kayaking. I also love reading and usually have both a fiction and non-fiction book going. Books are one way that I work on growing as a person, a mom, a wife, and a business person.
My goal is to support you as you GROW your business or non-profit, personally grow, and build CAPACITY within yourself and your business in order to provide an incredible SERVICE to your customers! By building a business that you are passionate about, that builds on your strengths, is profitable and doesn’t need you in it 24/7, and is ready to meet any challenges, you can be a resilient business owner and live the life you have always dreamed of!
